Jamshaid Baig
Commercial Director &
Co-founder
Jamshaid grew up in the textiles manufacturing industry in Asia. Following a
comprehensive apprenticeship, he studied business at post graduate level in
Russia. Graduating with an MBA,
Jamshaid returned to Asia for 5 years to head up Production together with
Purchasing and Quality Control at one of the major manufacturing plants.In 2005 he undertook a business development role for a textile company in France increasing their turnover by 50% Some of this increase in turnover was due to opening up new markets in Germany Greece and Cyprus, but most of it was owing to identifying new opportunities for existing clients, enabling existing clients to increase turnover and profitability, with overall added value to the client’s business profile. This was further achieved with the introduction of improved customer service support, and delivering goods at the right price. Jamshaid acts as Commercial Director, heading the marketing department and worldwide sales.
Nigel has worked in both the private sector and the public sector but
predominantly with Blue Chip companies within the financial services sector,
and had held the post of financial controller for two other companies prior
to becoming a co-founder of TexMasters Global.He studied business at post graduate level in the US graduating with an MBA, and has keen interests in corporate governance, where he holds the position as Business Governor, and Chair of Audit at an affiliate college of The University of Kent. He lectures in the subjects of accounting and finance at his local higher education college.
Nigel acts as Financial Director, heading the accounting and finance function, legal and the full administration function.
